Alright, as a big fan of the series, I heard about 14-16 months ago that they were working on a series of feature-length movies.  The first two were merely condensed halves of the anime, but the third is a new story (and a continuation from the end of the anime).  For anyone who hasn't seen Madoka, its a magical girl anime that turns the entire genre on its head.  It starts off fairly weird, and by episode 3, IT GETS FUCKING DARK.

A link to the wiki for those who can't find the original series or the first two movies to download.

And a link to where a decent Camrip of the third movie can be downloaded (the audio and video quality are perfectly fine, but the added subtitles weren't given a proper Japanese to English grammar translation.  So the sentence structure is a little bit jarring, but shouldn't have any impact on understanding the dialogue).  There should be a disc rip when the movie is released on blue ray/dvd.  Also, it seems its getting a better subber and getting a limited release in theatres in major cities (Los Angeles, New York, etc.).

If you like Madoka, or if it catches your interest, you owe it to yourself to watch this movie.  For those who don't want to wait, I'll put some spoilers for the narrative.

Or not.  There's no spoiler tab.  You'll have to pm me.  Tongue

Oh yeah, movie's out on the net, for those pirates out there. Its... ok.
I mean, it starts off really fucking awesome, but then the closing act feels like a snail race. Rather than letting us understand what's happening, they choose just give us a new set of rules and reality, making all the symbolism that follows painfully obvious to the point that you could stop watching and not really miss all that much.

*shrugs*

Its good for those seeking more closure on Madoka, and has a bitchin' ost.
