So, while there are many lovely things about our Chat feature, the frequent interruptions and outages are not amongst their number. I propose that we contact either a service board or, better, whoever was in charge of adding the Chat feature to our forum, so that we may talk about how to keep Chat in good repair. This way, we can post a general knowledge thread on site repair, and not have to run screaming into the night every time that damnable red exclamation point in Chat fails to go away. If anyone knows where to begin, sites to visit, or any other helpful information, please post it here.

http://frug.github.io/AJAX-Chat/Might be one of the first places to check for support information. As well, checking http://www.smfsupport.com/support/ may be the next best option. I would do the footwork but I have no idea what our issues are and aside I'm not a forum administrator so it's kind of a moot point to go around asking. Generally server admins would rather speak to the forum administrators about issues and the like before running to aid the forum in the off chance that a random user has less-than good intentions.

Hey all, Chat is on the fritz again. I've contacted support, but there's nothing they can do for the stability. As we've said before, there's an alternate area that Hitsuji set up until the new site is up and running. The link to it can be found here: http://ensnared.smfforfree.com/index.php/topic,1296.0.html
