Soren'la was panicking now. She quit using the spell, her eyes returning to normal, as she tried to shake Jarianna out of her trance.
"Oh no, ohnoohnoohnoohno... Jarianna, please, snap out of it! Somehow you're hypnotised!"

At first there was no reaction, however after a few moments the girl started blinking.
"mmhmm L-lady Hailfall?" She asked groggy and surprised "I-is something wrong my lady?"

"You were acting odd, like you were mesmerized, when I used that spell on you. I'm supposing it might be due to being an elf, or possibly both of us being elves..."
She began to get lost in thought.

Soren'la shifted slightly. The thoughts of how she felt were somewhat arousing.
"Oh no. I think... I think a mistress might've gotten to me..", she said with some breathlessness.

"That's true. Perhaps, though, they're trying to get me to turn willingly.", she thought aloud. Stifling her arousal, she turned her mind to other things.
"What opportunity would they have, though? It's not...wait..."
That fortune teller was odd, and she seemed to have little recollection of what transpired there. In addition, she felt a compulsion to go to that field..
"Now I think I know how this happened. That fortune teller must have gotten me alone in that field..."

"W-well I don't remember much. Just the smell of a reptile I've never seen or smelt before, She said she'd lost her pets. I wanted to help her but then...." she trailed off.
"... Then I awoke all tingly and happy." she couldn't remember much more since the rest of her time was spent looking for Soren'la

Soren'la gleaned what she could from Jarianna's story, but still couldn't make heads or tails of it, save that she herself must have been in that field while the young elf was out looking for her.
"Well, if my free will is still intact, I think this attempt wound up as a failure. Besides, I shouldn't use this spell too much anyway. There's only so much I can revitalize naturally before it would harm the target's body."

"..a-alright. Best if we test it in a controlled environment like this."
She resumed her spell, her eyes beginning to pulse with hypnotic color and power again, as she channeled her power through her hands.
