So you've got your crap together and you're ready to start RPing? Or you're tired of one-on-one interactions? Either way, Missions can solve your problems.

Missions are basically multi-person interactions that you kind of sign up for. First, post a topic on the Missions board with the information in the template further on. Then wait for people to sign up for it, and once a satisfactory amount of roles have been filled, you can begin. Generally, the person who posted the Mission should be the one to start it/control any events if nesseccary, but if you want to ask somebody to do it for you that's fine.

Mission Template
----------------

Description: describe exactly what the mission is about/what the Heroes are trying to accomplish in it. Detail it and make it seem as not-like-a-forum-post-ish as you can.

Roles needed: individually list how many of a certain kind of role you need. Obviously there has to be at least one Hero and one Mistress but you can ask for more. An example as follows.

Heroes (1-4 needed): Adventurers embarking on the epic quest!

Mistress (1 needed): Fierce antagonist, with a basket of treats about to fall in her lap.

Guide: (1 needed): Local man, who agreed to take the heroes to their destination.

You know, stuff like that. The guide is an example of an NPC. An NPC can be assigned to a character like any other role, but if not then the person in charge controls them. They are almost purely for presentation.
----

After the first post, other people post claiming roles that they want. Whoever posted the mission should update the list in the first post so people know what is still available.  When all the roles are filled or enough are filled that the rest can be ignored, you're free to begin!

Oh and the person who posted the mission is of course allowed first dibs to the roles. And yes, you may sign up for as many roles as you like at one time. Just keep the amount of activity in mind, other people may want in and get mad at you if you're hogging them all. It's more fun with more people anyway!

Also, anyone controlling the Mistress(es) in a mission should also consider using a Hero as well. It's more to manage yes, but pre-battle interacting and scene set-ups could take some time and it would give you something to do in the mean-time.

You may also want to decide on a posting order for battles, if one is needed.
