Bio: Sometimes bad things happen to good people. This is a fact of life. That didn't make it any easier for Jenna when a magical fire got out of control and burned through her home district, killing both of her parent and leaving her alone. At 12 years old, she was a City Orphan, eking out a life on the streets as best she could, which in all honesty wasn't very good. She would have died if she hadn't fallen in with a local gang of thieves. Unfortunately, what life she was left with was still an ugly one.

She became a thief, learning the ways of her fellow gang members, and doing whatever she had to to survive. Maybe she never felt exactly comfortable with stealing from people, but life was life, and her conscience learned to shut up about it very quickly. Over the years, she's become quite skilled at taking things that don't belong to her...

Special Attacks/Abilities:

Name: Disguise
Base Hit Percentage: 50%
Description: Having grown up in a situation where it's very bad to be a defenseless little girl, and even worse to be the defenseless little girl who just stole your wallet, Jenna is well practiced at disguising herself at short notice. If she can get out of sight, she can attempt to disguise herself as someone else, and hopefully disappear. On successful use of this ability, Jenna rolls a dice to determine her disguise rating. This rating degrades at -5 a turn. Seeing through the disguise by beating her disguise rating can be attempted once a turn. If there's no crowd to blend into, Jenna's disguise rating takes a -20 hit, and degrades at -10 a turn.

Base Hit Percentage: 75%
Description: Jenna seems to have a nigh infinite amount of knives hidden about her body at all times, and she's well practiced at using them. If this attack hits, the target takes 25 hp damage.

Name: Knife Dance
Base Hit Percentage: 2 x 60%
Description: She calls it a knife and she knows how to use it. Using two knives Jenna begins an intricate and blindingly fast attack that attempts to fool the target's senses and slip two a very damaging hits. If either attack succeeds, she does 25 hp damage per hit and becomes harder to hit for one round (+10 difficulty to physical attacks).
Can be attempted once every three turns

Name: Brawl
Base Hit Percentage: 90%
Description: When backed into a corner, Jenna can still use her fists! She's hardly a sophisticated fighter, but she's been in her fair share of scraps. On hit, does 10 damage.

Name: Flee
Base Hit Percentage: 50 %
Description: When the chips are down, she's long gone. If using this move, Jenna is attempting to get the hell out of dodge. Fleeing takes 5 turns, and Jenna must pass the hit roll 3 times during those turns or the attempt fails. Only works if unobstructed/bound.

Name: Pick Pocket
Base Hit Percentage: 60%
Description: She's a thief, what did you expect? Jenna attempts to steal a specific item from the target. If she succeeds, it's stolen! Whether or not she can hold on to it is another matter. If the item she attempts to steal is in the targets hands, or the target is paying attention to it, Base Hit Percentage is reduced by half.

Bio: David is a warm and generous man, who seems to have found his calling in the priesthood. His past holds no real secrets. The son of a baker, David grew up in a quiet village detached from the ever evolving nature of the cities, and joined the church in late adolescence. He's been there ever since, learning healing magic and tending to those who seek care. While this has made him a little naive in the ways of the world, it has also made him somewhat distrustful of people from outside his home village.

Recently he has begun a pilgrimage, seeking to learn more about healing, and possibly bringing aid to those who need it along the way.

Yeah, that's gunna end real well for him.

Special Attacks/Abilities:

Name:  I shalt take away thine suffering
Base Hit Percentage: 75%
Description: David's cleric training allows him to take away the suffering of others, healing them for 20 HP, while transferring some of the damage back to him, costing him 5hp. If this move is used, both it and "Thine Burdens" cannot be used for 2 turns. Cannot be cast on self.

Name: Thine burdens shall be mine own
Base Hit Percentage: 75%
Description: David's cleric training allows him to take away the burdens of others, healing them for 20 CC, while transferring some of the damage back to him, costing him 5CC. If this move is used, both it and "Thine Suffering" cannot be used for 2 turns. Cannot be cast on self.

Name: Thine sins revisited upon thee
Base Hit Percentage: 70%
Description: David attempts to use a spell powered by the sins of the target. If successful, any damage inflicted on David by the target for the past 3 turns is inflicted on the them in return. CC damage is converted into HP damage at a 2:1 rate. This spell can only be cast once every four turns.

Name: Smite down the Unworthy
Base Hit Percentage: 70%
Description: David casts a weak spell of holy light to strike his enemy. On hit, 15 HP damage

Name: In thine Darkest Hour
Base Hit Percentage: 50 %
Description: David makes a single prayer to his god for deliverance. If this ability works, he is healed to full health OR restored to full CC, whichever stat has taken more damage. This is a once a fight ability, and cannot be used more than once a day.

Name: Basic - Club
Base Hit Percentage: 90%
Description: David has a staff. He hits things with it. 5hp damage on hit.

Name: Passive - Devotion
Base Hit Percentage: -
Description: David's training as a holy man gives him great resistance to charm and lust magics, and reduce their effectiveness by half while he is able to maintain his focus. However, once he hits 50 CC his focus breaks, and his level of devotion becomes a weakness for enemies to exploit. From this point on he takes double CC damage.

Bio: The first daughter of this generation of a long line of mages, Sophia is well endowed with magical potential. Her status as the heir to her family's name has done wonders for her ego, and so she carries a rather haughty attitude with her. Fortunately this is tempered with a noble streak, she does consider it her duty to aid those who ask for her aid (and not *just* for the ego trip, though it's a nice bonus).

With the new age of evil and heroes dawning, Sophia has taken up the call and become an adventurer. After all, what would prove her strength better than defeating a  Mistress or two and bringing the forces of evil to heel?

Name:  Basic attack - Kick
Base Hit Percentage: 75%
Description: Did the high and mighty Mage just kick you in the shins? Yes. Yes she did. 5 HP damage.

Name: Fireball
Base Hit Percentage: 80%
Description: Sophia casts a spell and hurls a ball of fire at her opponent. If it hits, the spell does 25 HP damage and has a 50% chance to set the target on fire, doing 3 HP damage a turn for 4 turns. This can be cancelled early if the target is hit with a Frost Wave before the effect wears off.
This spell can only be used once every 4 turns.

Name: Mana Blitz
Base Hit Percentage: 4 x 65%
Description: Sophia launches multiple bolts of Arcane energy at her target, doing 7HP damage for each one that hits.
This spell can only be used once every 4 turns

Name: Polymorph
Base Hit Percentage: 60%
Description: Sophia casts a spell that turns the target into a helpless creature for 3 turns, unless broken early. Targets affected by this spell are fully in control of their own mind, but their new bodies are anything but useful in a fight. Once the spell ends, the target turns back with no permanent effect. Any non-passive attacks on the target will break the effect. The target may attempt to resist the spell by beating the spells un-modified hit percentage each turn. Can only be used on living targets. This spell may only be cast once every 2 turns.

Name: Frost Wave
Base Hit Percentage:  70%
Description: A spell that creates a wave of ice, spreading from Sophia's location, attacking all enemies in range. If hit, the target takes 10 HP damage and is frozen in place for 3 rounds and cannot use physical attacks, though magical attacks are still available. Each turn frozen opponents may attempt to break out by beating a 40% hit percentage.
This spell can only be used once every 4 turns.

Name: Mana Detonation
Base Hit Percentage: 60%
Description: A spell that gathers the spent magic in an area and converts it into one destructive attack on a single target. If it hits, this spell does 5HP damage for every spell that has been cast in the battle so far. Can only be cast once per battle.

Name: Warp
Base Hit Percentage: 60%
Description: Sophia attempts to teleport out of range of melee attackers. If she succeeds she cannot be hit by physical attacks for one turn. If she's caught in a bind, this spell will free her. Since she cannot teleport to somewhere she cannot see, this move suffers a -20% hit chance in small, enclosed areas.
This spell can only be used once every 3 turns.

Name: Passive - Mage's Bearing
Base Hit Percentage: -
Description: Sophia's arrogance and pride make her difficult to fluster, and so she takes -5 CC damage from any CC attack. However, she is also a squishy wizard, and takes double HP damage from any HP attack.

Bio: Trained in the way of the sword from a young age, and experienced in true combat many times over by the end of her teen years, Dacia is a formidable woman in a fight and a mercenary with few peers. While not what you'd call blood thirsty, she's spent her life on one battlefield or another, and this often translates into a blunt demeanour and an unhealthy lack of respect for social customs. Still, she's a good woman at heart, and she tries to do what she feels is right by her heart.

Just... Don't get her angry. Please. It would not be fun.

Description: Activating the magic runes on her sword, Dacia attacks her target and drains their vitality into herself, dealing 10 HP damage and healing herself for the same. She cannot go above 100HP, however.

Name: Two Handed Strike

Description: Adding the strength of both arms to her thrust, Dacia unleashes a crippling blow! If it hits, it does 10 HP damage. In Berserker Mode, this damage is doubled.

Name: Dual Strike

Description: Drawing a second sword from her belt, Dacia attacks from two directions at once! 7HP per hit.

Name: Guard Stance
Base Hit Percentage: 70 %
Description: On activating this ability, Dacia raises her guard and actively attempts to block or dodge any attack. In this stance all attacks against her must beat a hit percentage of 10%, unless the attack already had to beat 10%, in which case it must beat 1%. This stance deactivates her Combat Experience Passive while active, and Dacia cannot attack or move while in Guard Stance. Cannot be activated in Beserker Mode.

Name: Berserker Mode
Base Hit Percentage: 80%
Description: Can only be activated after the third round of combat. Dacia abandons all defence and loses herself in a combat induced fury, attacking twice for 4 turns. All non-finisher attacks that target her will automatically hit, though binds become ineffective against her enraged strength. In her anger she loses the ability to use Life Drain Strike, Combat Experience and Guard Stance. If she reaches 99 CC or 1 HP while in Beserker Mode, she will take no further damage until the Mode finishes, at which point she will automatically be fully charmed or fall unconscious.

History

Fate Harlaown was created as a clone of Alica Testarossa, after he untimely death at the age of 8. Fate was never supposed to know she was a clone, and had everything gone right, she would have assumed Alica's place with no problems. But Precia Testarossa, Fate and Alica's mother, couldn't accept Fate, seeing her as nothing more than a fake, a clone of her beloved daughter who's existence mocked the memory she was so desperate to preserve. The woman, unable to cope with her grief, went insane and began forcing Fate to perform dangerous tasks in order to properly resurrect Alica, despite the fact that this task was probably impossible. If she succeeded, she was dismissed. If she failed, she was punished. But Fate loved her mother so much that she never complained.

It was on one of these missions that Fate first met the most important person in her life, Nanoha Takamichi. The two first encountered one another in competition for magical artifacts known as 'Jewel seeds', and fought numerous times. Fate was the stronger mage, and defeated her oponent with ease multiple times, but in the end Nanoha triumphed, and in doing so set the stage for Precia's final breakdown.

Realising the threat her mother had become, Fate aided Nanoha and the Time & Space Administrative Beauru in defeating her, but in the struggle, the woman vanished into the dimensional void, never to be seen again. Alone, with no one left to look after her, Fate was in her darkest hour, but Nanoha refused to leave her in dispair. The young mage offered her the hand of friendship, and the two formed a strong bond, becoming life long best friends.

From there, the two joined the TSAB properly, ascending through the Ranks and becoming well known as powerful mages in their own right. Fate herself became known as the Ace Enforcer, feared by criminals throughout the dimensional sea. But this latest mission is troubling her. She's been dispatched to this dimension to locate four missing members of the TSAB, all of whom she's familiar with. Hopefully they're just lost, and she can get them home easily, but if not, she fears the worst.

No matter. She can't take too long. Nanoha is waiting for her, after all.


Abilities

Speed Demon
Passive - Fate is mage that specialises in speed. Even in her most powered down form, she has a +10 chance to her defensive rolls

Scythe Slash
Basic - Fate attacks with her trust Device, Bardiche, in Scythe form. 80% chance to hit, does 10 HP damage

Photon Lancer
Basic Ranged attack - Fate fires a bolt of magical energy at her target. 75% chance to hit, does 10 HP damage.

Lightning Bind
Bind - Fate uses lightning magic to capture her target and bind it in place, leaving her free to attack them as she pleases. 60% hit chance, can only be used ever 3 turns.

Plasma Smasher
Ranged Attack -  Fate fires a barrage of magical energy at her target from her palm, resulting in a lot of landscape damage. Does 5 attacks, each one with a 60% chance to hit. Each hit does 10 HP damage.

Jet Zanber
Melee Attack - Bardiche shifts into sword form, giving Fate longer reach and doing more damage. If this attack hits, 25 HP damage is taken. Has a 20% chance to unleash a shock wave that stuns the target.

Sonic Form
Mode shift - Fate, aware she's in a fight, shifts into Sonic form. She now has a +40% chance to dodge attacks, but as a trade off, takes double damage from any hits.

Sonic Drive
Mode Shift - As a last resort, Fate activates her ultimate Barrier jacket, Sonic Drive. She now has a +60% chance to dodge attacks, and any attacks she uses deal double damage. However, her defenses in this form are practically 0, and she takes four times as much damage from any attack.

Bio: Naoto's a true nose to the ground detective, a modern day Sherlock Holmes with the intelligence and grit needed to truly become one of the world's greatest. Except she's a girl and most of the Japanese police force think that's something to ridicule. Combined with a lack of parents and friends this made her irrationally upset with her physique.

One day the young detective was called in by the bumbling Inaba precinct, as the detective prince. It quickly became apparent to the legendary detective that the local group of kids were involved somehow. Using all available detective skills Naoto deduced the next victim, the young man Kanji Tatsumi and began to question the youth about any possible connections and noting the awkward way he kept avoiding eye contact. Clearly Naoto was gaining some clout!

However with each lead and theory Naoto kept running into the same group. Souji Seta and friends continued to be a wild card in Naoto expert reasoning, and so Naoto had to take desperate measures. After becoming the next target Naoto awaited the killers next move and soon found herself in a strange world. Inside this strange place Naoto was forced to face the many problems in her life, most importantly the fact that she was in fact a woman!

Accepting this among other truths Naoto was accepted into Seta's group, and together they began to work at solving the biggest case of her life today. That is until recently were a strange set of circumstances had thrown the Detective Prince into a strange new world.

Special Attacks/Abilities:

Revolver Shot
85% Physical 20 HP
Naoto isn't a fool, a bullet is great equaliser.

Full Burst
60% Physical 6x15HP
Naoto unloads her Revolver into the unfortunate victim. Takes 3 turns to reload, Revolver Shot and Full Burst cannot be used during this time.

Burning Up! (passive): Every three rounds, Naoto has a chance of perceiving her foes critical flaw from all the information she has gathered and then acting upon it. There is a 50% chance that her power, the Fortune Arcana will allow her to make something unusual happen that favors her situation.  If this power is successful, the rolls are as follows:

   1-20: Increase all members dodge besides Naoto's by 15 for the turn, and decrease enemy dodge by 10 for the turn.
   21-40: Increase physical and magical attack damage by 30 for a turn.
   41-60: The next blow inflicted by Naoto will cause the opponent to be stunned.
   61-80: Naoto can perform a team attack with an ally increasing that attacks damage by 2.5 and accuracy by 10!
   81-100: Naoto can make three actions this turn.

Persona!  Yamato-Takeru!
Passive
Yamato-Takeru is Naoto's persona, a small almost fairly spritely creature. White in appearence this persona wields a katana and fights in the name of it's father. Despite Naoto realising she didn't actually want to be a man her persona is in fact one. Go figure.

Tempest Slash
70% 30 Physical damage
A slash attack.

Vorpal Blade
60% 20x(1-3) Physical damage, Strikes all enemies
A bladed attack against multiple foes with multiple strikes. Naoto rolls a D3 to determine how many strikes for each foe.

Mind Charge

Naoto's next magic attack deals double damage. Cannot Stack.

Megidola
75% 15 Non-elemental Magical Damage, strikes all Enemies
A powerful Non-elemental strike.

Hamaon
75% 20 Light Magical Damage
A spell composed of the purest good. Damage is double against minions.

Mudoon

A spell composed of the darkest evil. Auto kills minions on successful strike.

Black Viper

Appearance:

History: Eleanor was always a competitive girl. She fell in love with trophies from a young age, and would strive to win as many as she could, whatever the competition. But, as she grew older, she found that it was harder and harder to satisfy her lust. Trophies became fleeting, less meaningful. Her victories would only lead her opponents to train harder to defeat her next time. Nothing ever lasted.

And then, as she was considering giving up on her collection, a stranger approached her and offered her a deal. In exchange for her entire collection of trophies, the stranger would teach her Card Summon Magic. It was a forbidden kind of magic that trapped living beings in cards, bound to serve her every whim. It would be nice to say Eleanor struggled with the moral implications of such a magic, but really all that delayed her acceptance was the idea that she'd have to give up her trophies. It did not hold her for long.

Now, Eleanor works as a hero, not because of any upstanding nobility, but because she can't imagine a bigger Trophy than a Mistress bound to serve *her* will...

Who knows what she'll do if no one stops her...

Abilities:

Name: Card Summon

Base Hit Percentage: 70%
Description: Summons a helper with 10 HP and 15 CC. Helpers act independently of Eleanor, but whatever form they take, each one can only attack once a turn for 10 HP damage, with a 70% hit chance. A helper will be dismissed if it's HP reaches 0. If it's CC is maxed, it severs it's contract with Eleanor and swears a new one to the Mistress that charmed it, fighting at her side instead.

Passive - Join the battle
Ability: Eleanor fights along side her summons, and they protect her from harm. Any Summons on her side increase her defense rolls by 10%. Inversely, any summons converted by a Mistress on the field reduce her dodge chance by 10%

Bo staff Strike
Base Hit Percentage: 2x 65%
Description: Eleanor is proficient with the Bo-staff, and uses it as her main weapon. When she uses it, she may attack twice, choosing to attack two targets or to strike the same target twice. 65% of 15 HP damage for each strike.

Conquered Capture
Requires: Target has 10 or less HP
Base Hit Percentage: 99%
Description: If Eleanor defeats a foe, she is able to bind them in a card. Once trapped inside a card, the only way out is to form a contract with her, swearing to serve her as a summon until she chooses to release them. It takes incredible will to break this magically bound contract, which is why usually a summon must be charmed before they can do so.

Bio: There once was a girl who had death in her heart...

Well, no, it's more complicated than that. Minako Arisato was never an ordinary girl from the day her parents died in an accident while she was a child. It was many years before she learned that that 'accident' had in fact been a battle between Aigis, a battle robot designed to protect humanity, and Death, the herald of the end of the world. Aigis, overwhelmed, sealed Death within Minako, saving the world before succuming to her injuries...

Minako didn't return to the city where her parents had died until she was 17, when the shadow in her heart pulled her back there to begin gathering it's strength once again. Thus began a year long adventure as she learned of the power of Personas, joined and became a leader of the organisation SEES, explored the mysterious tower Tartarus, and made the best friends she could ever hope for in her teammates.

If you really want the details, go play Persona 3 Portable.

Cutting a long story short, the year ended with a battle atop tartarus, as Minako and her friends fought to stop the cosmic power Nyx from ending humanity. By drawing on the power of her Personas, and the bonds she had made over the year, the young woman managed to stand against the unstoppable and accomplish the impossible, giving her life to seal Nyx away for good.

And that should have been the end. Minako would have stood strong between Nyx and humanity, her soul a barrier that would never break, until the end of time. However, certain interfering hands of another world are looking for a Wild card to bend to their will, and Minako was a very tempting prize indeed...

Now, the organization's agents have snatched the girl from her place, drawing her into this new world, and hope to use her against their enemies.  Whether or not they will succeed is another matter. Minako has no desire to hang around here, after all. It's nice to be alive again, but who knows how long the world will hold out without her...


Special Attacks/Abilities:

Charisma: Irresistable (passive): You think Yu's bad? Minako doesn't limit herself to one gender. Whether it's due to her bubbly charm or strength of personality, this Wild Card attracts all comers, male, female and android alike.
In battle, she has an 85% chance to deal 10cc to fallen heroines and Mistresses.  If she cc-maxes them (equal to their total hp), they'll stop attacking for three turns, as they are smitten with her.  Even after they snap out of their crush, all attack they make are at -20% to hit, and all damage is reduced by 10.  Outside of combat, Mina has a 90% chance to automatically make any character find her favorable, and 75% chance for characters to be smitten with her.
She's just that cute!

Burning Up! (passive): Every three rounds, Minako has a chance of turning the tides in her favor, taking victory from the jaws of defeat.  There is a 50% chance that her power, the World Arcana, makes something unusual happen that favors her party.  If this power is successful, the rolls are as follows:

   1-20: Increase all members speed for three turns, allowing them to attack twice, and decrease enemy damage by 20 for three turns.
   21-40: Increase physical and magical attack accuracy and damage by 15 for two turns.
   41-60: All cc damage done to one party member is removed.
   61-80: Minako can attack twice per turn for three rounds!
   81-100: Minako has a 80% chance of reducing one foe's HP to 1.


Jab (basic attack):
85%, deals 20 damage
Minako spent a year learning the ins and outs of fighting with a naginata with SEES, and she still fights with hers today!

Persona (special ability):
The power of one's true self.  Minako, as a wild card, has quite the selection of Persona's to call on. While her situation is more complex than, say, Yu's, since she housed a fragment of death for so long, she is just as capable of switching between personas to fit a situation as he is. Her Arcana is the world, and her power, when triggered, is unstoppable. As a man with a long pointy nose once said, there is nothing she cannot achieve, should she put her mind to it.
She can switch Personas once per turn, and this does not count as an action for her turn.  Her Personas ignore any advantages that flying enemies have, but they do have weaknesses and resistances.  If hit with an attack that exploits her current weakness, she takes double damage, while an attack that she's resistant to only deals half damage.  There's also the chance that her Personas can absorb an attack or nullify it on impact, leading to more strategic ways of combat.  After every successful battle, Minako can obtain a new Persona, granting her a wider range of attacks and abilities.

Orpheus (resistant to fire attacks, weak against electricity and darkness attacks):
Minako's first Persona, and also her last, Orpheus could be considered her 'true' persona.

Bash:
80% chance, deals 20 damage.
A bash attack

Agi:
85% chance, deals 15 fire damage. 
A basic fire spell

Tarunda:
75% chance, decreases an enemy's attack damage by 10.
A spell that weakens the enemy


Thanatos (Reflects dark attacks, weak to light attacks):
The ultimate Persona of the death Arcana, and one with special meaning for it's genki-girl master.

Tempest Slash:
70% 30 Physical damage
A slash attack.

Mudoon:
65% 35 Death Damage
A powerful death spell. Automatically kills minions on hit.

Evil Smile:
60% 3 round stun on all enemies
A spell that puts fear into the hearts of even the noblest man.

Mastery of death (Passive):
While Minako has Thanatos equipped, all HP attacks used by the party do +15 damage.
An innate desire to kill...


Messiah: (reflects light attacks, weak to dark attacks):
Minako's ultimate persona, created by her journey to face death, and be reborn as a Saviour. Packs quite a punch.

Megidolaon:
70% 35 Non-elemental Magical Damage, strikes all Enemies
A powerful Non-elemental strike.

Salvation:
50% chance, heals the entire party of all damage and CC. Can only be used once per battle.
A very draining healing spell.

Hamaon:
75% 20 Light Magical Damage
A Light spell, does double damage against minions of darkness!

Regenerate/Invigorate (Passive):
While this persona is equipped, Minako regenerates 5HP and loses 5CC a turn.
An innate restorative ability.


Never give up! (special):
Minako's happy-go-lucky exterior hides a soul of steel. If her HP reaches 0 or her CC is maxed, she still won't go down without a fight. As long as she has one person still standing on her side, she will continue to fight until the end.

Name: Barrier of the Wind King
Base Hit Percentage: -
Description: One of Saber's Noble Phantasms, the barrier of the Wind King is the sheathe of air around Excalibur that obscures it from sight. As long as it's in sheathe form, it grants both her attacks and defences +10 due to unpredictability. This barrier can be detonated as a directed wind attack,  Dealing 30 hp damage, with 60% accuracy. Once this is done the barrier is gone, and Excalibur is fully exposed. This must be done in order to activate Saber's more powerful Noble Phantasms.

Description: Saber unleashes her Noble Phantasm! In her current state, she's not as fast as she would be in life, and thus, it takes her two moves to bring the sword down. This move is the set-up move for the final attack - Unless she breaks off of her own will, or is defeated before her next turn, the attack will be unleashed.

Description: Excalibur, the sword of Promised Victory, Saber's Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm.
