Mount Hiroko is an impressive sight and is home to the beautiful Aranami Valley. However, in well-hidden cave there are rumors of a treasure worth far more than any jewel.
A warm breeze blows out of the cave despite it's foreboding nature.

And with any luck, that treasure would be a clue to the rumors. Hoshi stepped into the cave carefully...and dropped on her behind from a slick puddle. "What the..." she called back to the adventurers who had agreed to protect her. "Look out, the floor is wet..." she picked herself up carefully.

The cave before you is warm, and has a low light to it from strange fungi growing on the walls. You are able to traverse without a torch, but getting around will be tough...

Hoshi stood up. "Thanks." she said, nodding. "I'm hoping to solve a mystery..." She moved more carefully this time. "This cave has known water..." she said, putting a hand on the all as she walked. "It flowed this way, once." she pointed down a tunnel which would take them deeper into the caverns.

Seig almost lost his grip as he helped Hoshi up but maintains it and follows her slowly. "Hope your right. Faster we find the creature that rules this cave. The faster we can get out of here." He looks at the streams of water, wondering if they are near some underground lake.

In the dimly lit cave it is hard to see what's coming. However out of the corners of your eyes you each manage to spot a snake slithering towards you. It looks relatively harmless, though it may be poisonous. Suddenly, without warning, they strike out at you!
(Viper Strike: 50% ,5 HP ,5 CC x3. One on each of you.)

"I'm hoping we don't." Hoshi replied. "Who knows what it would do if it found us?" she followed the tunnel when she heard a hissing. Before she could draw her sword, it bit down on her arm, injecting venom into her blood that dazed her. She sliced at the snake "Fel beast!"

Seig also froze when he heard hissing, readying his lance he did not expect a viper to latch out and bite his free arm. Even though he had armor, he felt its fangs sink through and inject him with some venom before he knocks it off. A mild warmth instead of pain came from the bite. "Watch it! This thing will pay for that!" He thrusts his lance at the snake that bit him.
(Seig's armor protects some of the damage. 4 damage instead of five)
(Piercing Strike, 75% chance of 10 damage)
(Armor durability: 48)
(Seig 96 HP, CC 4)

Bianca, hunching down a bit, was someone distracted by the snakes pop out of nowhere. She easily dodges a lunging snake, before looking to the other members of the party.
(40% chance to not get this is a threat. Rolled 99)
"Okay, snakes attacking. This isn't my home, so this should be a bad thing. Nobody get mad at me, okay?"
Bianca throws a basic punch at one of the snakes. (If it hits, it'll do 10 hp damage, due to her passive ability "My hands are a registered weapon".)

The three snakes are no match for the attacks of the heroes. With a hiss they all fall. Well, you're off to a good start then. Three snakes down...numerous other animals to go.

Leaving the corpse of the snakes behind, Hoshi focused on the walls again. "I see..." she said, picking a path that seemed to double back. "This way...the water went here."
As they followed the path, they would find it quickly turned around and went deeper.

"I can't believe a bunch of snakes just attacked us." He said as he continued to follow Hoshi, trusting her for now to lead them the way. As the water got deeper he looked more carefully. "Hopefully the water does not go to deep. I can't really swim with this armor on."
